Provenance : front pastedown with presentation inscription to Peter (?Guiser) for winning the HogHunter's Cup, the Club's top prize for pig-sticking. First edition thus. Very scarce. A fascinating record of meetings of the Meerut Tent Club, a society of British soldiers and civil servants devoted to pig-sticking based in what is now the state of Uttar Pradesh.
