Figaro Illustre featured large( 12" x 16 1/2") color lithograph covers every month. This Gypsy woman/ wagon is by Gustave Courtois and is an an original July 1894 cover, not a modern copy. Large enough to function as as a poster, it appears in several references as a "Great" magazine cover. Because of the large size most Figaro Illustre covers have more damage.
