Numbers 1-9 of The Masque , originally published separately between 1946-1949, here issued together in a single volume. Includes a three-part article (spread over three issues) on the designs for the theatre by Rex Whistler, written by Cecil Beaton, James Laver and Laurence Whistler respectively. Joan Hassall was the art editor of issues 6 to 9, and contributed illustrations to issues 5, 6, 8 9. This copy has an autograph postcard signed by Hassall to Bevis Hillier tipped in. SKU: 321252
