The Works. A finely bound copy of this pirated edition, extra-illustrated with a facsimile autograph letter signed from Byron to the publisher. Byron challenges a piece attributed to him in Galignani's journal, despite having "never heard of the work in question until now". Galignani pirated practically all the notable Romantic writers, satisfying a Continental hunger for these poets (fuelled of course by Byron's international celebrity).
