Our Hawaii is a captivating travel memoir and historical narrative written by Charmian Kittredge London, the wife of the famous American author Jack London. Originally published in 1917, the book chronicles the couple's extensive travels, deep admiration, and experiences throughout the Hawaiian Islands during their visits in 1907 and 1915–1916. Charmian initially kept detailed daily diaries during a two-year South Seas voyage on their sailboat, the Snark. While Jack published his perspective in The Cruise of the Snark , Charmian carved out her Hawaiian journal entries to form this standalone book. Condition: Boards lightly rubbed with light cup circle at front panel; minor toning else very good.
