TESTAMENTITAK TAMAEDSA NALEGAPTA PIULIJIPTA JÊSUSIB KRISTUSIB APOSTELINGITALO PINIARNINGIT AJOKERTUSINGILLO. The complete New Testament translated into Inuttitut, the Labrador dialect of the Inuktitut language, "printed for the British and Foreign Bible Society in London, for the use of the Moravian Mission in Labrador." The first section, containing Gospels and Acts, first appeared in 1876. The second part, Romans to Revelations, was printed in 1878, and includes a list of errata to the first part and a note. The text was prepared by Theodor Bourquin, superintendent of the Labrador mission, and edited by J. Ribbach. Early editions of the Gospels were published in 1810, 1813, and 1839; Acts in 1816; and Epistles in 1819. A revised edition of the whole New Testament was published for the first time in one volume in 1840 (see Darlow & Moule 3508-11, 3515, 3516). Not in Ayer Linguistics.
