Bound by Parkins and Gotto in full blue morocco, blind ruling to boards, raised bands and titles in gilt to spine; all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt dentelles, gilt decoration to board edges. Portrait frontispiece with tissue guard, and several steel engraved illustrations. Binder's stamp to verso of front free endpaper. Binding is rubbed. Internally clean, with occasional minor spotting.
