The Yale Shakespeare - 37 Volumes (38 but one - Richard the III - is a repeat and in poor condition) Dated from 1924-1966 with most from the 1950s. Most books pages are Like New; some pages have a speck sized dot mark on a page or two or a page bump on the edge; some books have a page or several with a minor stains (Julius Caesar and Coriolanus have several pages with a dot that goes through a page. The Tempest has a page with a thumbprint shaped stain on the margins). Othello has previous owners embossing stamps on a couple of pages. Two Gentleman of Verona has a fore edge bump with small edge tears. Anthony and Cleopatra's fore edge of the books text block has two circular white stains that appear on the outer horizontal margin of the pages; in addition the back inner cover has a tear in the white top layer at the top of the spine about 1/2 an inch deep (the netting layer is still firm) and the back inner cover also has a red sharpie circle blot. Henry VIII's back cover has a speck sized dot hole pierced in the middle that also pierces pages up until page 135 (out of 166) - in diminishing degree with a bump afterwards. Richard the II has fore edge dents, a deep crease on one page, and a dot sized stain. Inner covers of all the books have some degree of color fading ranging from minor to some degree of foxing.
