Listed by location and alphabetically by last name, the entries provide information on the soldier’s rank and prisoner number, the name of the ship or vessel or regiment or service, the type of ship or vessel, the date of capture, the prisoner’s age, the time he arrived at a parole location, where the prisoner was assigned prior to arriving at the location, their final status (escaped, discharged, died, or run) and date, and the place or ship the prisoner was sent to when discharged from the parole station.
