A lovely and very rare classic cookbook, the series showcases Italian home cooking at its best, with typical regional recipes. This book is based on the cooking in Naples. A very hard to find original edition from the famous "in Bocca" series, the book not only has the recipes of the region but also anecdotes, words of wisdom, and poems, written in regional dialect, Italian, and English on a special hand made paper called cartapagia, or cardboard. The book is filled with beautiful original artwork and reproductions of antique prints. This copy is in pristine condition with no visible signs of wear.
