Tales to Astonish #93 from July 1967, a genuine UK 10d price variant and a fantastic Silver Age Marvel issue featuring the Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer and Sub-Mariner. This is one of the standout Hulk and Silver Surfer covers of the Silver Age, with classic Marie Severin artwork. The main Hulk story features the memorable confrontation between Hulk and the Silver Surfer, following their encounter in Tales to Astonish #92. This copy has particularly strong front-cover eye appeal, with bright colours and a very attractive central image. I would personally grade the comic at approximately 6.0 Fine using CGC grading standards as a guide. Visible condition includes some colour-breaking spine ticks, light edge and corner wear, minor lower-edge creasing/waviness, an additional circled 10d marking to the front cover and some age toning/marks to the back cover. Both staples appear secure and the centre pages remain attached. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description. Comic grading is subjective and the stated grade is my personal opinion rather than a guarantee of any future third-party grade. A very collectable UK price variant of an increasingly sought-after Silver Age Hulk and Silver Surfer issue with excellent display appeal.
