Signed in 1983 by the Commanding Officer of the 24th Marine Amphibious Unit, LtCol Tim Geraghty. LtCol Geraghty was on the ground in Beirut, Lebanon, when the barracks were bombed. The book is signed to Captain Morgan (Rick) France (retired U.S. Navy). Captain France was the Commanding Officer of Amphibious Squadron 8 during the Beirut bombing.
