"The Story of Babar: The Little Elephant" is a signed hardcover book from 1996 by Laurent de Brunhoff. This first edition book features illustrations and is written in English. The narrative is a work of fiction and is suitable for children. Measuring 14 1/2" in height and 10 3/4" in width. It is Signed by Laurent who was Jean's son. He took over the series in 1946 and frequently did book signings and drew little sketches of Babar next to his name well into the 2000s. Book signing took place at barnes and nobles in 1996. The book has no markings inside. The pages are not flat and the spine is in like new condition. To be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped with USPS tracking and insurance. Signature release will be required.
