Includes Canne’s marginal notes and references, an index, alphabetical table of Biblical names and their meanings, and tables of Scripture weights, measures and coins. Especially attractive early Victorian binding with elaborate floral decoration and gilt “HOLY BIBLE” spine. Approximately 11" tall. A wonderful 175-year-old American Bible for a religious collection, historical library or decorative display. Binding and covers show substantial age-related wear as photographed.
