Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, investment-grade piece of indie comic history: James O’Barr’s Sketchbook 003, released in September 2004. This is not the standard convention edition. This copy is from the highly restricted Signed & Numbered (S&N) run of only 50 copies worldwide. It features O'Barr's bold hand-signed signature on the interior page, hand-numbered as 5/50—making it a highly coveted, low-sequence copy for serious completionists and fans of The Crow creator. The interior page also bears the printed provenance mark: "JOBARR 2004 AUGUST TX", verifying its authenticity and placing the signing just one month prior to the book's official release. Excellent/Near Mint collector-owned condition. The spine is tight and uncreased, corners are sharp, and pages are crisp and white with no finger smudges or writing.
