Here's a 2 volume hardback copy of The Great Works Of Christ In America (Magnalia Christi Americana) by the puritan Cotton Mather in acceptable/good condition. Both books & dust jackets are in very good physical condition ..BUT both volumes have an extensive amount of underlining, writing & marginalia throughout. I counted 146 pages with markings in volume 1 and 177 pages of markings in volume 2. The markings may include anything from a simple dot to parentheses, brackets, stars, check marks, arrows to underlined paragraphs. Both books have 3 pages of notes before & including the title page, (vol 2 also has 2 pages of notes on the blank pages at the end.). I've tried to document (via pictures) some of the more egregious pages in each volume; most pages are just a check, arrow or an underlined paragraph, nothing that will keep you from reading them. There are also a handful of dog eared pages in both books. These are great reading copies (maybe place holder copies) if you don't mind/can ignore all the markings inside.
