Inscribed to commissioned officer Quartermaster Sergeant Wilson C. Garrett who is referenced on page 252. Sgt. Garrett has marked the passage including his name. Contains an errata slip to page 107. The Story of a Regiment recounts the Civil War service of the Second Regiment, Minnesota Veteran Volunteer Infantry, from its formation in 1861 through the end of the war.
