Maroon paper boards quarter bound with black cloth. Gilt lettering on spine. Boards are in very good condition with minor rubbing and bumping to bottom edges. Illustrated dust jacket with title in black lettering on spine. Jacket is wrapped in mylar and is not price clipped. Very minor wear to edges. Tight binding and clean interior. Set on a small farm in New Mexico, this book explores grief and hope. On his website, deBuys writes that "The Walk" is more purely memoir than his other titles, adding, "None of my books is dearer to me."
