Vintage King Kong collector’s lot featuring two paperback editions of the classic novelization, plus a matching postcard and an assortment of King Kong memorabilia and paper ephemera. Included: • King Kong by Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper, novelized by Delos W. Lovelace — Bantam Books, published October 1965, 50¢ movie-photo cover edition • King Kong — Ace Books, First Ace Printing, November 1976, with illustrated cover artwork • Matching unused Ace Books King Kong postcard featuring the same artwork as the 1976 paperback • Assorted King Kong newspaper clippings, articles, comic strips, advertising images and printed memorabilia shown in the photographs The loose material includes a “King Kong Returns, Good as New” article, a King Kong birthday-cake clipping, poster and advertisement reproductions, humorous newspaper comic strips and other related pieces collected by a previous owner. Vintage preowned condition. Both books show age-related wear, including cover rubbing, edge and corner wear, small creases and age-toned pages. The postcard has some edge wear, spotting and a small area of paper loss near the upper-left corner. Newspaper clippings and other loose pieces vary in condition and may have yellowing, folds, uneven trimming, small tears or edge wear.
