Extremely watchable trash, a big-budget film with lowdown agenda, and the last film in which Elizabeth Taylor, who won an Oscar for her performance, could have been accurately described as young and radiant. Something of an American answer to De Sica's Madame De... with the object in question being a fur coat rather than a pair of earrings. Shot on location
