Vintage 1968 Burma Diary by Paul Francis Geren. This is the stated fifth edition, unabridged, and first printing of the Stetson University Presentation Edition, issued for Geren’s January 26, 1968 inauguration as the university’s fifth president. Originally published by Harper & Brothers in 1943, this memoir recounts Geren’s experiences in Burma during World War II. Includes the original red presentation folder/envelope shown. Please note: although the printed colophon references a limited, autographed presentation edition, this particular copy is not hand-signed or numbered. Condition: Vintage preowned condition with foxing/age spotting on interior pages, including the title and colophon pages. Light wear to the cover and presentation folder. Binding appears intact.
