Provenance: Includes the original Square Books (Oxford, Mississippi) credit card receipt made out to previous owner Judy Jones, dated September 15, 2003 — just three days after Brown’s publication-party signing at Square Books on September 12, 2003. Mrs. Jones was a member of Square Books's acclaimed "Signed First Edition" club, and this book is from her estate. Strong local association with the author’s hometown bookstore which has provided support for Southern literature and writers since it opened in 1979.
