"John Romulus Brinkley was an American quack doctor, broadcaster, marketer and independent politician. He had no accredited education as a physician and bought his medical degree from a diploma mill." Wikipedia The book itself says he was "a graduate of distinguished medical universities." A more recent biography, from 2008, is titled "Charlatan: America's Most Dangerous Huckster, the Man Who Pursued Him, and the Age of Flimflam." Brinkley developed the "goat gland operation"—implanting goat testicles into men to cure impotence and aging. Black and white historic photos of Brinkley, his family, his plane, house (3 page fold-out), and the log cabin where he was born. We are 100% staffed with volunteers and all our items are donated.
