Translated from the French by Adrienne Foulke. Hardcover in the original blue pictorial dust jacket. Original $5.00 price remains intact on the front jacket flap. Condition: Very Good hardcover in Good original dust jacket. Blue cloth boards remain attractive with strong silver spine lettering. Binding appears firm. Pages show normal age toning. Dark ink spot/mark visible on the upper page edge. Front pastedown contains an older Vroman’s Pasadena bookseller label and previous-owner/bookplate material; please see photographs. Original dust jacket shows age and handling wear including rubbing and scuffing, edge wear, small tears/chips, corner wear and loss/rubbing along the spine. Jacket remains complete enough to display well and retains its original $5.00 price. There is a marker spot on the bottom fore edge that has bled slightly into the surrounding page margin (picture included).
