RARE. This is beautiful book for beginning French readers with an aim for actual literacy. This is not the basic French of today, but looks back on a time when students were expected to study a LOT. This is both an excellent reference for beginning to moderate French language skills as well as a lesson in America's history and culture. There are over 65 pages with photographs, some pages having more than one photo. The book is in VERY GOOD++ Condition with some light soiling, light wear and some light internal foxing, albeit not a lot. There is a small scrape to the top edge of the rear board. Overall this is a gorgeous book with some minor flaws from storage. There is no writing, no loose, torn or missing pages and it has a tight, firm, square binding. RARE.
