This listing is for a Family Circle Magazine from February 1949. It features an article "What Can You Do About Comic Books?". Comics were undergoing scrutiny at the time and parents were concerned about their content affecting children. The magazine also has articles on cooking, cleaning, decorating, as well as fiction stories and wonderful old advertisements. It measures 8-1/2" x 11-1/2" and has 88 pages. It is in Acceptable condition with creases, tears, chips out, abrasions, indentations, and general wear. It has a 3/16" faded line across the top, pieces out along the spine, and page 69/70 has a cut-out. Other than the cut-out, the magazine is complete with no missing pages. Staples are rusting. Please view the photos to see these defects. It does not have a musty "old paper" smell. This magazine would be a nice addition to your collection!
