PRINT 1: Messenger by Kurt Vonnegut, hand-printed in five colors on Coventry cotton paper; 12 x 16.75 inches with a tissue guard; SIGNED BY VONNEGUT in pencil and numbered 30/50; with the printer s embossed chop mark. PRINT 2: Red Shark by Ralph Steadman, hand-printed in two colors on Coventry cotton paper; 12 x 16.75 inches with a tissue guard; SIGNED BY STEADMAN in pencil and numbered 30/50; with the printer s embossed chop mark. The image is of Hunter S. Thompson from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. CATALOGUE: The catalogue was published in conjunction with an exhibition at the University of Kentucky Art Museum, Lexington, in 1999, and includes original essays by Kurt Vonnegut and Ralph Steadman. The copies included with the portfolio have been SIGNED BY VONNEGUT, STEADMAN, JOE PETRO III (the printmaker, additionally embossed with his chop mark) and RACHAEL SADINSKY (the curator of the University of Kentucky Art Museum.)
