Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition book which is a classic, wide-ranging philosophical examination of Human Society written by LEWIS MUMFORD as Volume Two of his "The Myth of the Machine" series--the book is a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET and is NOT a remainder copy and NOT price-clipped, with the original $12.95 price in the upper corner of the front inner flap. This book is in excellent condition and the book itself has slight dings on the spine tips, slight foxing and dustwear on the upper page edge and a tiny ding on the lower center edge of pp. 317-9 and NO other significant imperfections; the dustjacket has very light dings on the spine tips and slight dings on the upper opening tips, some light scuffing on the surfaces and a few small, light abrasions on the back cover, tiny tears on the upper left edge and right corner of the front cover, a couple of very small and light discolored spots on the back surface of the spine edge (NOT visible on the front cover) and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant imperfections. The book is titled The Pentagon of Power: The Myth of the Machine, Volume 2 and it was written by LEWIS MUMFORD; it was published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Inc. in 1970. In this concluding volume of "The Myth of the Machine", Mumford brings to a head his radical revisions of the stale popular conceptions of human and technological progress.
