Jitsuyo o-ryori kondate manga sugoroku ("Manga Sugoroku with Daily Menus"). A sugoroku board game showing the first 12 months of a woman's married life. Each month comes with a suggested breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu for every day of the week. There are only two copies listed on WorldCat, in the National Library of Australia and Princeton University.This board game was issued as a supplement to Fujin Sekai ("Women's World") Volume 21, Number 1, a popular monthly women's magazine founded in 1906. The game starts with a marriage in January, before moving on to learning to cook in March, morning sickness in April, and various stages of pregnancy leading to childbirth in December. The couple make ice-cream in August, picnic in October, and share a family meal on the final square.
