The work reproduces for the first time a wealth of photographs, drawings, lyrics, poems, essays, a script for a never-released film, and, as specified by Morrison himself in his designs for the book before his death, his previously unpublished notebooks from the controversial 1970 Miami Trial, where he was convicted of indecent exposure. Two facsimile notebooks, fastidiously reproduced in their entirety, offer a further glimpse into Morrison's creative workings.
