First edition First and only edition of this title. Written by Professor Pennefather who was Commissioner for New Zealand during the The Indian and Colonial Exhibition in the 1880's. He also became an Acting Judge in New Zealand in 1898-99. Endpapers dated "May 1893". Very scarce. vi, 64pp introduction, 172, 8pp adverts at rear, 18 maps and plans,previous owner's inscription on half-title ; publisher's red cloth gilt, mild discolouration of the spine; overall a very good copy.
