First edition in this form; 8vo (200 X 125 mm); colour frontispiece, decorative title-page, a further 23 colour plates, general mild age-toning (as usual), otherwise internally very good-plus; publisher's light green cloth, sumptuously gilt panelled to upper cover and spine, top edge gilt and others untrimmed, endpapers browned (as usual), later neat ink presentation to upper secondary blank endpaper, very minor rubbing to extremities, lightly bumped spine-ends, slight darkening to spine, otherwise exceptionally clean and bright; [x], 205pp.
