John Nicholson was the pseudonym of the cleric and genre author Norman Howe Parcell (1885-1955). First edition; 8vo; illustrations throughout, contents faintly toned; original reddish brown boards, titles to spine in black, a few tiny marks to the binding, which is very lightly rubbed at the extremities, a very good copy in the rubbed, dulled, and nicked jacket with a few short splits; 233 pp.
