Marvel Super-Heroes #20, published by Marvel Comics in May 1969. A Silver Age Doctor Doom key featuring the first appearance of Valeria and his first solo feature, “This Man... This Demon!” Diablo forces Doom into a confrontation involving his childhood love, Valeria, and his time machine. Written by Roy Thomas and Larry Lieber, with artwork by Larry Lieber and Frank Giacoia and inks by Vince Colletta. I would grade this copy approximately 4.5 VG+ / VG/FN. The front retains strong colour and the Doctor Doom artwork presents well. There is an approximately 2 cm split at the top of the front-cover spine, alongside spine rubbing, colour-breaking creases, edge and corner wear, and light back-cover soiling. A purple UK price stamp is present on the US-priced cover. The grade is my personal opinion using CGC standards. Please study the photos and make your own assessment.
