Original 1937 New York University School of Education Summer Session guide, titled Around New York. Published by the NYU School of Education Student Activities Office, 80 Washington Square East, New York City, this illustrated guide was created for summer-session students and offers a fascinating snapshot of New York City life in the late 1930s. Contents include sightseeing suggestions, Washington Square and Greenwich Village features, restaurants, museums, zoos, churches, sports, student activities, dances, excursions, markets, skyscrapers and other places of interest throughout New York City.
