Many black & white plates/illustrations. Please note lacks 1 plate vol VII; frontis of vol II lacks its tissue and 1 map is detached but present. Has unfortunately sustained some damage to front cover vol VIII, please see pics, otherwise just general age-related fading and light wear. Covers have been cleaned with professional book cleaner. Still a nice looking set on a shelf and very good reference copies. All bindings sound and tight. Contents clean and very good. Will be well packed and sent by Royal Mail. Smoke free home.
