Amstelodami: Apud Joannem Janssonium, MDCLVII 1657 . Sea travel FIRST EDITION. Octavo 16 x 10cm , pp.96. In the original Latin. Later brown half calf, nonpareil marbled paper over boards. Black gilt-lettered title label to spine. All edges speckled red. Text gently toned and heavily annotated in faint pencil throughout. Light mark to pastedown. Binding is fairly recent and bright, a few small scuffs to calf, mild wear to joints and extremities. Very good.
