Splendidly illustrated Marine Dictionary, highly detailed plates of ship construction, rigging, ship’s equipment c. The author, the famous Danish shipbuilder Diderik Hansteen Funch (1791-1856), was one of the most important warship designers of his time. Trolleholm Library bookplate of Carl Trolle Bonde, dated 1888, to the front pastedown.
