Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition book which is a collection of writings on the heavens by Greek philosopher ARISTOTLE and translated by W. K. C. GUTHRIE--the book is a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET published as No. 338 in the "Loeb Classical Library" published by Harvard University Press and Volume VI in their Twenty-three Volumes comprising the complete surviving works of Aristotle. This book is in SUPERB condition and the book itself has a slight ding on the lower spine tip, and a tiny tear on the center opening edge of p. xxxvii and NO other significant imperfections; the dustjacket has slight dings on the lower spine tip and lower opening tips and just very slight shelfwear and NO other significant imperfections! The book is titled Aristotle in Twenty-Three Volumes VI: On the Heavens and it was written by ARISTOTLE and translated by W. K. C. GUTHRIE; it was published by Harvard University Press as No. 338 in the "Loeb Classical Library" in 1986. Aristotle, great Greek philosopher, researcher, reasoner, and writer, born at Stagirus in 384 BC, was the son of a physician. He studied under Plato at Athens and taught there (367–347); subsequently he spent three years at the court of a former pupil in Asia Minor. After some time at Mitylene, in 343–342 he was appointed by King Philip of Macedon to be tutor of his teen-aged son Alexander.
