Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition book which is EXTREMELY RARE, hard to find and OUT OF PRINT and a fascinating examination of the mechanics of modern physics written by Russian scientist E. I. PARNOV and translated from the Russian by VLADIMIR TALMY--the book is a FIRST ENGLISH EDITION published by MIR Publishers in the Soviet Union in 1971 and a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET. This book is in excellent condition and the book itself has some very light foxing in spots on the upper and lower portions of the covers, slight dings on the spine and opening tips, a small owner's name and tiny number stamp on the blank first page, a tiny stamp with four boxes and two x marks on the upper left corner of the back surface of the blank last page and just light shelfwear and slight evidence of gentle browsing and NO other significant imperfections; the dustjacket is missing approximately the bottom half of the spine edge and has a partial tear on the center upper back edge at the back cover, a small abrasion on the upper right corner of the front cover, some small tears and creases on the upper and lower edges, a 1 1/2 inch horizontal tear on the center left of the front cover, light dings and small tears on the opening tips and a small torn out spot on the upper spine tip, some light scuffs on the surfaces and some shelfwear but no other significant imperfections!
