RARE. Autographed First Edition, signed by BOTH Desind AND Kernan. NEAR FINE Condition with very light wear, some very light soiling and a few pages in the Yiddish section of Israel Pressman's DER DURKHGEGANGENER VEG (Roads That Passed) had a light gum of sorts on a few pages edges. NOT chewing gum, but something like that non sticky gum-like substance that arrives with a new credit card that you have to gently rub off of the rear of the card. If you know what I mean, then it is similar to that. A few pages stuck together at a very tiny point and were simply easily separated. I believe I removed all of the substance, but there may be a little more. I don't know where it originated unless it was from the publisher since this book has only been opened enough to be autographed and inscribed and then photographed by me- it's basically unread. There is no other writing, no loose, torn or missing pages and a tight, firm, square binding. Very nice copy. Very uncommon title.
