Antique "Collier's Cyclopedia of Commercial and Social Information," compiled by Nugent Robinson and published by Peter Fenelon Collier & Son, New York — copyright 1882 with this printing marked "MCM" (1900) and stated as "carefully revised to date." Deep red cloth hardcover binding with gilt-stamped title and sunburst emblem on the spine, gilt-edged pages, and a charming handwritten ownership inscription on the front endpaper dated 11.2.57. A genuine piece of Victorian/early-1900s Americana — the classic oxblood cloth spine and gilt detailing make it a favorite for cottagecore and grandmillennial-style shelf styling as well as for reference-book collectors.
