Bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe in half red morocco over red cloth boards, with gilt details. Five raised bands with gilding to spine. All edges gilt. High quality marbled endpapers. Illustrated throughout with maps, diagrams and letters, including some which fold out. In all volumes the boards and bindings are in excellent condition, with only very minor marking to the reverse of vol. 4. All volumes are internally very clean.
