This rare and deeply intimate volume chronicles the life, art, and personal journals (spanning 1939 to her passing in 1987) of Edna Manley—the legendary British-Jamaican sculptor and wife of former Jamaican Prime Minister Norman Manley. Condition Report (Please Read Carefully Before Purchasing): • Dust Jacket: POOR / ACCEPTABLE CONDITION. The original dust jacket has sustained notable moisture/water damage. There is heavy color bleeding (purple and blue ink) onto the inner reverse side of the jacket, along with extensive spotting, staining, and visible wrinkling. The spine of the jacket has a significant open tear near the bottom windmill logo, which exposes the black cloth board underneath. • Hardcover Binding: GOOD. The black cloth boards feature gold gilt lettering on the spine and a gold windmill emblem on the front corner. The binding remains tight and structurally square. The lower edge of the spine cloth shows light fraying/softness matching the jacket tear. • Internal Pages & Endpapers: ACCEPTABLE TO GOOD. T
