This is a wonderful mid-century classic. Gene Zion and Margaret Bloy Graham are the legendary duo behind the Harry the Dirty Dog series, and this book carries that same iconic 1950s aesthetic. The spine is tight and the red back cover is vibrant. • Interior: The orange endpapers are crisp. The pages are clean, bright, and free of the typical "child-drawn" scribbles seen in your other 1940s titles. There is a tiny, faint spot on the bottom of the copyright page, but otherwise, it is in excellent shape. • Note: This is a "Harpercrest Library Edition," which means it was reinforced for library use. Ironically, this copy doesn't appear to have any library stamps or pockets, which makes it much more desirable than a typical "Ex-Library" copy.
