A lovely copy of the most substantial collection of Platonic dialogues in English available during the eighteenth century. Erroneously labelled the third edition, the text first appeared in 1701 and reached a fourth edition in 1749, with this ‘third’ (actually fifth) following three decades later. This is the scarcest of the editions of this version.
