Published in Harrap's "Myths" series, this illustrated and comprehensive collection of Native American mythology was compiled and interpreted by the Scottish folklorist and anthropologist Lewis Spence (1874-1955). He draws on oral traditions from across the continent, including Algonquin, Iroquois, Sioux, and Pawnee.
