First US edition, first impression; 8vo; short score mark to front free endpaper, else unmarked internally; publisher's brownish-pink cloth, with black basket weave design on spine and title diagonal on a black ground, black topstain, fore-edge uncut, in the original unclipped pictorial dustjacket; a very nice copy in the slightly marked and rubbed dustjacket with a few nicks to extremities and stain to verso of spine panel.
