Good Omens. First edition, inscribed by both authors on the title page, in red ink "For Adam... gosh. How you've grown... Neil Gaiman" together with doodle of a winged creature, and in black ink "Shame about the end of the world and everything... Terry Pratchett". In the novel, the Antichrist is given the name of Adam Young.Written as a collaborative effort between the two well-established authors, Good Omens was later made into a television series (2020) of the same name, created and written by Gaiman. A sequel to the novel became a second series (2023), and a later single episode ("third series") was released in 2026.The authors divided the writing process based on the demands of their individual careers. Pratchett described that "in the end, it was this book done by two guys, who shared the money equally and did it for fun and wouldn't do it again for a big clock" (quoted in Breebart).
