For sale are 6 volumes of The Great War, The Standard History of the All-Europe Conflict edited by Wilson and Hammerton. This is Volume 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of a 13-volume set. These are large heavy books that are abundantly illustrated that describe this horrendous event. There are many authors that thoroughly cover the war from the military, political, technical and tactical views. I am also listing volumes 8-13 separately. I have included a newspaper clipping from 1945 announcing V-J Day. These books are in acceptable condition. They are old and show the wear of their age. The hinges of some of the volumes have been cracked. The outside hinge of volume 7 has been torn. See scans and make your own assessment of condition.
